Alumni Coordinator Red Oak Recovery Center - 3.5 Asheville, NC Job Details Part-time $22 - $24 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Newsletters (communication methods) Full Job Description Red Oak Recovery Center (Asheville, NC) is a clinician-run treatment program with three campuses established to serve the needs of our clients. Our Red Oak campuses offer a unique blend of clinical rehabilitation, 12 step addiction recovery, proven addiction therapy services, family counseling, and experiential and adventure therapy. We are seeking a Part Time Alumni Coordinator to assist in promoting our programs (Red Oak Recovery, The Willows at Red Oak Recovery, Foothills at Red Oak Recovery) and maintaining connection with clients who have discharged from our programs. For more information about our campus and services, please visit, Red Oak Recovery | Men's Rehab Center | North Carolina Responsibilities Manage alumni Facebook Page Work with campus teams to ensure discharged clients have ROI's filled out Add alumni to constant contact database Maintain alumni spreadsheet Lead monthly local coffee and 12-step meeting Lead monthly Zoom Connection alumni meeting Be available for alumni support via phone an email communication (company phone will be provided) Send alumni updates to The Willows and Red Oak campuses Work with Business Development to have newsletters created quarterly Take pictures and find relevant articles to share in alumni newsletter Lead and organize quarterly/annual alumni activities with social activities or clinical workshops Recruit staff to help with alumni events as needed Schedule Part Time Hybrid, Remote/Onsite Some work from home and required hours on each campus every week Minimum Qualifications Minimum HS diploma (or equivalent) Personal and/or professional experience with 12 Step Recovery, Substance Abuse Treatment, Mental Health Treatment and/or Wilderness Therapy Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social work or related mental health field preferred Strong communication and de-escalation skills preferred Personal or professional recovery experience preferred Experience with managing groups in a residential or wilderness setting preferred Wilderness First Responder or higher medical certification preferred Travel Medium travel is expected for this position Red Oak Recovery does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factor.
