Understand DOT requirements for packaging and transporting hazardous materials. Understand and manage chemicals based on physical and chemical properties for proper profile classification. Prepare all necessary paperwork to submit and obtain approval of waste profiles. Utilize profile management software to manage waste profile requests efficiently and accurately. Complete all waste profile requests in allotted timeframe. Work with Materials Management to profile into key strategic facilities. Assign proper waste codes to all materials that are designated for disposal. Assign proper product codes to all materials that are designated for disposal. Maintain and manage waste profile data. Complete accurate data entry of waste profile information. Perform other assignments as assigned by management. Experience and Background 5+ years

RCRA/DOT

training & knowledge Waste profiling portal use & knowledge (WM, Republic, CH, Veolia, etc) Knowledge of hazardous & non-hazardous waste profiling Understand waste manifesting, LDRs, and labeling Familiarity with EPA, DOT, and applicable state and local regulations Excellent interpersonal and communications skills Proficient Microsoft Suite user Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen, physical, and drug-screen Attention to detail Organizational Skills Health and Safety conscious Interpersonal skills Education Highschool or GED
