As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a versatile, detail‑driven Service Coordinator . About the Role The Service Coordinator manages the scheduling, dispatching, and documentation for fire safety technicians inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems. This individual is the primary liaison between customers and field staff to ensure code compliance and on-time service delivery.
What You'll Do Scheduling & Dispatch:
Coordinate daily/weekly schedules for service and inspection technicians, maximizing productivity and handling emergency calls. Schedule city water shutdowns Order lifts and parts
Customer Service:
Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, scheduling, and follow-up on service requests.
Documentation & Compliance:
Create work orders, manage inspection reports, and ensure compliance with fire codes, safety standards, and contractual obligations. Maintain customer and other sales data into database Send notices of completion to general contractors
Technician Support:
Ensure technicians have necessary information, parts, and site access. What You Bring 2+ years in service coordination, dispatching, or administration, ideally in fire protection, construction or related trades Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with Quickbooks or comparable accounting software (preferred) Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Who You Are Our ideal candidate: Thinks analytically and enjoys solving problems Looks for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency Works with urgency and meets deadlines consistently Communicates clearly, concisely, and purposefully Approaches work with a big-picture mentality of gathering and analyzing information, identifying goals and challenges, demonstrating decisiveness in implementation of solutions, and evaluating results.
