Your daily impact:
As our next Street Sweeper, you'll be at the heart of our mission—delivering essential services that help improve public safety and enhance environmental quality. In this role, you'll take ownership of assigned routes, drive the street sweeper, and operate specialized equipment to keep streets clean and well-maintained. The job responsibilities below outline the core duties and expectations of a position, providing clarity on how the role supports Company goals. Safety & Inspection:
Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment in accordance with company standards. Ensure all safety features are operational before beginning route.
Execution:
Review assigned routes thoroughly prior to departure. Be proactive in asking clarifying questions if the route or expectations are unclear. Complete assigned jobs within the allotted timeframe while maintaining expected quality and attention to detail.
Equipment Operation:
Operate equipment safely and efficiently at all times, following all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and site-specific protocols. Exercise additional caution during inclement weather or challenging site conditions.
Material Handling:
Handle materials safely and securely; Apply correct procedures for material types and disposal sites.
Reporting:
Report any equipment issues, malfunctions, near misses, crashes, or injuries within 30 minutes or as soon as safely possible. Immediately escalate opportunities, work issues, or safety concerns to management.
Professional Communication:
Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing the company on job sites or in public areas. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients when needed.
Compliance & Documentation:
Accurately complete required logs, manifests, and forms.
Adaptability & Problem Solving:
Respond appropriately to changes and challenges; identify and solve issues timely.
Regular & Predictable Attendance:
The ability to consistently report to work on time and as scheduled, with minimal unexcused absences. This includes being present and prepared to work throughout assigned shifts, and reliably adhering to start times, breaks, and end times.
Minimum Job Requirements:

Education:
​High School or GED​
Experience:
1 year DOT driving experience - waste & recycling services experience preferred
License:
CDL-A & DOT
Medical Card Age:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Compliance:
Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, and drug screening in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.

Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements outline the essential on-the-job demands needed to perform the role safely and effectively.
Work Environment & Exposure:
Constant work outdoors with regular exposure to weather, elements, and traffic; occasional exposure to loud noise, dust/debris, and jarring conditions; limited exposure to chemicals.
Physical Demands:
Frequent sitting and walking/standing; occasional bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling; limited stair climbing and crawling; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs at varying heights, including overhead.
Cognitive & Sensory Requirements:
Continuous reading, screen use, mental focus, and hand-eye coordination throughout the workday.
Equipment & Tools:
Operation of specialized equipment (e.g., mechanical broom sweeper) and use of hand controls, foot controls, and fine motor skills.
Safety & Protective Gear:
