Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Porter Potty Transporter and play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and sanitation at various outdoor venues. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for transporting portable toilets efficiently and ensuring they are properly serviced to meet health standards. Your proactive approach will help create a safe and comfortable environment for workers. This role offers an engaging opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and contribute to public health and safety. Duties Safely transport portable toilets to designated locations using appropriate manual handling techniques and heavy lifting practices Ensure proper disposal following infection control and environmental regulations (Septic Cleaner will come to do that) Conduct routine inspections of units for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance needs, implementing patient safety measures where applicable Maintain accurate logs of service schedules, waste removal, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health standards (Communicate with Boss) Follow infection control protocols and isolation precautions to prevent contamination or cross-infection during servicing Communicate effectively with team members regarding service updates, safety concerns, or urgent maintenance issues ahead of time (Cleaned Saturday Mornings) Qualifications Prior experience in home & community care, ratchet straps Must have a Valid Drivers Lisence (no accidents in the last year) Maintain Company Vehicle maintenance (comes with a fuel card) Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices during transportation and servicing tasks Refilling water jugs, maintaining soap for handwashing, and toilet paper Strong communication skills for interaction and de-escalation techniques when addressing needs Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail This role is an excellent fit for individuals who thrive on physical activity, enjoy outdoor work environments, and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.
