Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting all studio areas to uphold high sanitation standards. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums safely and effectively to maintain pristine floors and surfaces. Handle chemical agents with strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring proper storage, usage, and disposal to prevent hazards. Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture, equipment, or supplies using safe lifting practices. Maintain the cleanliness of shared spaces such as restrooms, kitchen areas, and common zones to promote a hygienic environment. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for lighting, fixtures, or equipment and assisting with light repairs when appropriate. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering inquiries about studio amenities, and assisting with basic setup or troubleshooting. Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of cleaning procedures involving sanitation standards and chemical handling safety procedures. Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers or industrial vacuums is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper ergonomic practices. Strong attention to safety protocol adherence and facility maintenance routines. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Basic understanding of residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required.
