The Maintenance Crew Member is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the car wash facility. This role is ideal for a dependable, hardworking individual who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in a job well done. Job Description The Maintenance Crew Member helps provide a clean, safe, and professional environment for customers and team members. A significant portion of this position involves pressure washing the car wash tunnel, parking lot, drive aisles, sidewalks, equipment areas, and other exterior surfaces. Additional responsibilities include routine facility cleaning, grounds upkeep, and basic property maintenance. This position does not involve the diagnosis or repair of car wash machinery or mechanical equipment. Training on proper cleaning procedures, chemical handling, pressure-washing equipment, and workplace safety will be provided. Primary Responsibilities Pressure wash parking lots, drive aisles, sidewalks, curbs, dumpster areas, and other exterior surfaces Thoroughly clean the car wash tunnel, including walls, floors, arches, pit, and hard-to-reach areas Empty trash cans and keep trash enclosures, storage areas, and utility areas clean and organized Pick up litter and maintain the overall cleanliness of the property Assist with basic landscaping upkeep, including pulling weeds, trimming vegetation, and clearing leaves or debris Identify and report facility damage, safety hazards, leaks, lighting issues, or equipment concerns to management Keep cleaning supplies, tools, hoses, chemical areas, and storage spaces clean, organized, and properly secured Follow company procedures for chemical handling, workplace safety, and working around active car wash operations Assist site management with other facility cleaning and property-upkeep responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Dependable, punctual, hardworking, and attentive to detail, with pride in maintaining a clean and professional property Comfortable using pressure washers, hoses, surface cleaners, cleaning chemicals, and basic hand tools Able to follow cleaning and safety procedures and complete assigned tasks with limited supervision Willingness to work outdoors year-round around water, cleaning chemicals, moving vehicles, and active car wash equipment in wet, hot, cold, or noisy conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and remain physically active throughout the shift Ability to safely lift and move up to 75 pounds Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or other hours based on facility-cleaning needs Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment background check Benefits Competitive hourly compensation Flexible and favorable scheduling Four free car washes per month Supportive, team-oriented working environment
