Full-Time GL Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Sanitation Operator for a manufacturing facility in Orlando. This is a hands-on industrial sanitation position responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and manufacturing areas while following strict cGMP, SOP, safety, and quality standards. This is more involved than general janitorial work—the ideal candidate should have previous industrial sanitation or manufacturing experience and be comfortable dismantling and reassembling production equipment for proper cleaning. Job Responsibilities Clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment and production areas Dismantle, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment , including fillers, pumps, mixers, and related machinery Operate sanitation equipment and transfer pumps Properly use cleaning chemicals and required PPE Follow established cGMP, SOP, chemical-handling, and safety procedures Complete sanitation records and required documentation accurately Report equipment problems, inventory shortages, or sanitation concerns Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment Assist with training new sanitation employees when needed Follow established quality and sanitation standards at all times Requirements 1-2+ years of industrial sanitation or related manufacturing experience Previous experience cleaning and sanitizing manufacturing/production equipment strongly preferred Knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures Mechanically inclined and comfortable dismantling/reassembling equipment Must be able to communicate, read, and follow detailed work instructions in English Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to stand and perform physical work for extended periods Comfortable working in wet, humid, and potentially slippery environments Willing to work overtime as needed Must successfully complete required onboarding and background screening Attendance & Reliability Excellent attendance is extremely important for this position , particularly during the training period. We're looking for someone who is dependable, arrives to work on time, has reliable transportation, and is committed to completing the assignment. Candidates should have a reasonable commute to the facility and be comfortable consistently working the 3:30 PM-12:00 AM shift .
