Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Recycling Sorter and play a vital role in environmental sustainability! In this energetic position, you will be responsible for efficiently sorting recyclable materials and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Your proactive approach will help ensure that recyclable waste is processed accurately and promptly, contributing to our commitment to reducing landfill waste and promoting eco-friendly practices. Duties Sort recyclable items by type, quality, and contamination level to ensure proper processing. Conduct routine cleaning of work areas, machinery, and equipment to maintain safety standards. Support sanitation efforts by ensuring waste is properly contained and disposed of according to safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to streamline sorting processes and improve overall efficiency. Experience Experience in manufacturing or waste management environments is a plus. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and sanitation practices is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail for sorting accuracy and maintaining cleanliness standards. Basic understanding of recycling processes and environmental sustainability initiatives is beneficial.
