Non-Exempt)JOB FUNCTION
Maintains maintenance equipment and vehicles as assigned.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Services, overhauls, modifies, and repairs vehicles, maintenance equipment and gas or diesel internal combustion engines on such equipment as cranes, air compressors, fingerlifts, power tools, etc. Services and renders proper maintenance to batteries. Maintains proper records for equipment. May repair hand power tools and other related equipment as required. Drives vehicles and equipment. Assume an emergency management role, as assigned, and perform specific assignments or functions, as needed, in an event of an emergency, not to include routine trouble calls/callouts.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs similar and incidental duties as required.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Must have or be able to qualify for a State of Hawaii driver's license. Must meet the standards for driving positions stated in the Hiring Standards for Driving Positions policy. These standards may be adjusted periodically to meet business and safety objectives. Minimum of 3 years experience in the maintenance and repair of internal combustion equipment.Role:
