Role:

Performs a variety of cleaning/sanitation duties and responsibilities for the plant.

Main Responsibilities:

Requires working in enclosed /confined spaces - must be able to obtain a confined space authorized certification Requires working at heights equal to plant ceilings and exterior silos Climbing ladders and stairs. Requires working in temperature extremes, hot and cold, indoor and outdoors Setting up, performing CIP (clean in place) cleaning operations, and reassembly of equipment Must be able to disassemble and reassemble equipment for PEC (periodic equipment cleaning) cleaning Responsible for keeping accurate written records and required to complete reports Performs cleaning and sanitation activities as determined by the Master Sanitation Schedule and/or Sanitation Lead and/or Sanitation Program Manager. As assigned, must use personal protective equipment, such as gloves, boots, fall protection or respirator. Often works wearing a full body harness, tied off with safety lines (retractable lifelines.) Mechanical Aptitude is required

EDUCATION

High School diploma or

GED. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

Prefer one - two years of full-time sanitation work history
