- Assists in the daily operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant in compliance with established procedures and standards and federal, state, and local laws and regulations;
- Inspects and/or monitors pumps, charts, gauges, motors and other plant equipment daily;
- Assists in the collection of samples for lab tests;
- Assists in maintaining adequate inventory of chemicals and other supplies;
- Performs servicing of plant equipment, assists in maintaining plant, including preventative maintenance programs;
- Performs minor repairs and/or adjustments on plant equipment;
- Assists in cleaning and maintenance of plant and grounds.
