Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Sanitation Technician.
Sanitation Technician Job Details Schedule:
Mid Shift, 10:00 AM-6:30 PM; start and end times may vary based on business needs
Pay Rate :
$18.00/hr
Location :
Walton, KY Sanitation Technician Requirements/Qualifications Previous cleaning and sanitation experience preferred. Previous sit-down forklift experience preferred; training provided. Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong time management skills. Strong documentation and written communication skills. Ability to accurately interpret documents, regulations, operating instructions, and work procedures. Ability to work flexible hours as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to reach and lift overhead. Ability to crouch and lift materials from floor level. Ability to work in an elevated work area. Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift. Ability to stand and walk for up to 95% of the workday. Ability to work in temperatures between 50°F and 85°F. Ability to follow safety regulations, SOPs, and work instructions. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, apron, glasses/goggles, and other protective equipment as required. About the Sanitation Technician Role As a Sanitation Technician, your responsibilities will include: Clean and sanitize production and blending equipment. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing blending and filling equipment. Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual cleaning checklists. Conduct fire extinguisher and eyewash station checks. Perform weekly scale verifications. Maintain cleanliness throughout manufacturing and production areas. Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals and required protective equipment. Support chemical spill cleanup and waste water treatment activities as assigned. Operate a scissor lift and forklift as needed. Assist with production and waste water operations when cross-trained. Follow all company safety procedures, SOPs, and work instructions. Perform additional cleaning, sanitation, and production duties as assigned.
