Job Description

Job Overview A Semi Truck Washer is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and basic presentation of semi-trucks, trailers, and related equipment. This role ensures that vehicles are free of dirt, grime, road debris, and contaminants that can affect both performance and professional image. Responsibilities Operate pressure washers, brushes, and cleaning chemicals to wash tractors and trailers. Perform full-service washes, including exterior, undercarriage, wheels, and engine bays. Apply wax, degreasers, and protective coatings as needed. Follow OSHA and company safety protocols when handling equipment and chemicals. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment. Use proper protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Operate washing systems, hoses, and water reclamation equipment. Conduct routine checks on cleaning tools to ensure proper function. Report and assist with minor maintenance issues. Interact with drivers and fleet managers in a professional manner. Ensure trucks leave the wash bay presentable and meeting customer expectations. Communicate any visible truck or trailer damage noticed during washing. Skills & Qualifications Ability to operate power washers and cleaning equipment. Basic mechanical awareness for recognizing potential vehicle issues. Physical stamina to work outdoors and handle manual tasks. Attention to detail and pride in producing a polished finish. Strong time management to meet wash schedules. Work Environment Semi Truck Washers typically work in outdoor or covered wash bays, often around heavy-duty trucks and equipment. The role can be physically demanding, involving standing for long periods, bending, and handling water and cleaning solutions in various weather conditions.
Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 60.0 per week
