Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and machinery according to established protocols Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and techniques suitable for industrial and food processing environments Conduct heavy lifting and manual cleaning tasks safely to maintain cleanliness standards Follow strict safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Maintain detailed sanitation logs and documentation for audits and inspections Assist in the setup and breakdown of cleaning equipment and supplies Collaborate with team members to prioritize sanitation tasks during production schedules Ensure proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental guidelines Support warehouse cleaning duties as needed to uphold overall facility hygiene Qualifications Prior custodial or janitorial experience, preferably within food production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and sanitation standards Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies Familiarity with safety protocols related to chemical handling and workplace hygiene Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
