Summary/Objective:
The Hydro Blast Technician will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation and high-pressure water blasting.
Responsibilities:
May include, but are not limited to, the following Operate and set-up all necessary cleaning equipment such as high-pressure pumps, in service line hydro-blasting, and vacuum), in accordance with operational and training and guidelines and safety procedures. Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear. Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings. Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment on tanks. Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area prior to starting any job. Inform supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. TWIC
  • if recently applied or it, a receipt will suffice for interview purposes. Driver's license or State issued I.D.
  • MUST BE VALID.
    Must be capable of passing a hair follicle and urine drug screen. Understand and follows verbal and written instructions. Ability to travel out of town up to 25% of the time and work at Industrial Owner Facilities. Perform Manual Labor to complete tasks associated with service lines performed by USA Debusk. Be On Call 24/7, Flexible
  • willingness to work off shifts and weekends.
Basic Safety Training Skills. Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience preferred, but not required. General labor experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
to be performed with or without reasonable accommodations Must be capable of regularly speaking and hearing while utilizing hands to control or manipulate objects. Must be capable of seeing close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be willing and capable of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling or reaching above the shoulders. Must be willing and physically capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be willing and capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long period of time. Must be able to make general decisions requiring judgement and perform activities requiring sustained concentration. Must be able to work extended hours and rotational schedules. Must be comfortable working around pressurized systems and hydrocarbons. Must be able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
