Summary/Objective:
The Truck Operator will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials and vacuum truck operations. The Operator/CDL Driver will be responsible for driving and operating efficiently and safely all power equipment and vehicles in accordance with DOT laws and regulations.Responsibilities:
May include, but are not limited to, the following Operate and set up all necessary equipment in accordance with operation training and guidelines and safety procedures. Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear. Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings. Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment. Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, service, grease, etc. Wash and clean company equipment- Pressure wash, clean cabs, etc. General housekeeping
- sweeping floors, taking out trash, and helping keep work areas clean and organized. Help with future job load outs or unloads from previous jobs
- Return equipment and PPE back to designated areas.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. No experience required behind an 18-wheeler. Fresh out of school is OK. Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Auto Restrictions is OK. Must possess a valid Transportation Workers Identification card (TWIC) or be able to obtain one. Must possess a Medical Examiner's Certificate or be able to obtain one. Must be capable of passing a personal background screen. Must be capable of passing an MVR background screen. Commercial Driver- Operator run under the FMCSA 70-hour rule.
Physical Requirements:
