Landfill Laborer

Carson City, NV Schedule:

Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM We are currently seeking dependable and hardworking individuals for a Landfill Laborer position in Carson City. This is an outdoor, physically active role supporting landfill operations and maintaining cleanliness throughout the site.

Job Duties:

Pick up windblown trash on roads, hills, and surrounding landfill areas Bag litter and load debris, cardboard, and trash into pickup trucks Assist with general landfill cleanup and maintenance Move heavy items such as refrigerators and other debris Perform snow shoveling and equipment cleaning as needed Complete basic records and timesheets Maintain professional and courteous interactions with the public and staff Support additional landfill operations as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk for extended periods on uneven terrain Lift and carry up to 60 pounds Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Exposure to dust, fumes, hazardous chemicals, and environmental conditions

Dress Code:

Ankle-supporting boots required No shorts permitted
