In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to efficiently handle recyclable materials and ensure safety and compliance across work environments. Your expertise will contribute to sustainable waste processing, environmental stewardship, and the smooth operation of material handling equipment. Responsibilities Handle recyclable materials efficiently, ensuring proper sorting, loading, and unloading in accordance with recycling protocols. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks to promote a safe environment. Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and material handling tools to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance. Support recycling initiatives by sorting materials and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, forklifts, front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, or garbage trucks in a manufacturing or waste management setting. Knowledge of solid waste management practices, sanitation procedures, and recyclable materials handling. Familiarity with safety regulations related to hazardous materials, environmental compliance, and heavy equipment operation. Prior outdoor work experience demonstrating the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Mechanical knowledge is preferred for routine equipment inspections and troubleshooting minor issues. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining high productivity standards. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
