In addition to a competitive compensation package, we offer a full range of company paid benefits including health insurance, 9 paid holidays and 401K. Typical hours are 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday with some overtime, averaging 45 hours per week. Overview The Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical and other physical structures in accordance with internal requirements and manufacturer's specifications. Essential Functions Construct interior walls, metal framing, hanging and finishing drywall. Paints structures, drywall and plaster Evaluate, repair and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems in the building. Maintain and install electrical systems and fixtures. Performs preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines. Repair and maintain shop machinery and mechanical equipment including overhead cranes, shears, welders, and forklifts. Maintain fire, carbon monoxide, smoke and other safety systems within the structure. Prioritize work orders for the purpose of addressing health and safety risks first. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent (GED). 3+ years of relevant experience and/or training. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work outside under all weather conditions when needed. Prior experience with, or knowledge of, maintenance work to be performed on hydraulic and diesel machinery.
