Street Sweeper Operator

Job Summary Immediate opening. We are seeking a street sweeper operator. Tuesday through Saturday is the regular schedule, but flexibility is needed for covering other shifts on Monday or Sunday. This is a position that requires shift start times ranging from 1am to 6am. Hours worked in the day will vary with the schedule. This position requires operating a street sweeper: cleaning parking lots/roads/driveways for customers in early morning hours. Part of the time is spent outside of the sweeper for tasks such as blowing out debris. Street sweeper maintenance is a required part of the job. Responsibilities Operate sweeping machinery to clean designated areas, including parking lots, roadways, and construction sites. You must be reliable, trainable and consistent. Perform routine maintenance on sweeping equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct inspections of the work area to identify debris and hazards. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Use of smart phone with a number of required apps to log hours for customers records and proof. Experience Previous experience with street sweeper is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with local area and locations of businesses and streets. Experience in basic mechanics such as oil and filter changes. A valid driver's license is required with a clean driving record. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers as needed and management.
