We're looking for a Lab Sanitation Technician to join our Allentown, PA laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and enjoys hands-on work in a professional laboratory environment. What You'll Do As a Lab Sanitation Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping our laboratory clean, organized, safe, and ready for daily testing operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Washing and preparing containers and laboratory materials used during testing and analysis. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area around laboratory sinks and workstations. Cleaning and sanitizing countertops, walls, floors, shelves, equipment, sinks, water baths, and other laboratory areas. Properly disposing of laboratory waste and maintaining appropriate sanitation standards. Storing chemicals, reagents, and laboratory supplies correctly and maintaining adequate inventory. Organizing laboratory glassware, plastics, and other materials. Decontaminating laboratory materials using an autoclave. Following established procedures, safety requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Supporting our quality and continuous improvement initiatives. Identifying and reporting departures from quality systems or established testing procedures. Working closely with supervisors and team members to ensure daily laboratory operations run smoothly. Performing other related duties as assigned. Maintaining professional and ethical conduct consistent with our Code of Conduct. What We're Looking For You don't need extensive laboratory experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable following established procedures.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. Ability to carefully follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to perform routine tasks according to established procedures. Ability to learn and follow laboratory techniques, safety requirements, and SOPs. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks. Ability to adapt to changes in daily operations. Physical & Work Environment This is an active, hands-on laboratory position. Frequently stand and walk throughout the workday. Regularly use hands to handle laboratory equipment and materials. Fine motor skills and hand dexterity are required. Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds . Requires close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Work takes place in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to chemicals, biological agents, and hazardous materials. Strict safety procedures and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are required. Regular cleaning, sanitation, and sterilization of laboratory workspaces are essential.
