We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sanitation Technician. In this role, you'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, coolers, warehouse spaces and outside areas according to our Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures. You'll also help set up and tear down production equipment, use cleaning chemicals safely, and document your work accurately. Sanitation Technicians play a key role in the success of our operations by ensuring our facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. Your work helps keep our products safe and our team running smoothly every day. Clean and sanitize food contact and non-food contact equipment, surfaces, and areas according to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs). Perform cleaning duties in coolers, warehouse areas, restrooms, and exterior grounds. Safely handle and apply sanitation chemicals to clean a variety of surfaces and equipment. Inspect all cleaned equipment and work areas before releasing the line to the Sanitation Supervisor. Accurately complete sanitation checklists and documentation for all tasks performed. All other related duties as assigned by Sanitation Supervisor High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in sanitation preferred Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and following all safety protocols Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks within strict timeframes Follow safety procedures and complete all required documentation Must be able to speak, read and write English Extreme cold, exposure to non-weather related cold temperatures of 36-52 degrees Work environment includes exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, and sanitation equipment Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times Safety shoes required for work in wet warehouse cooler environment Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds frequently Requires frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and walking for duration of the shift Must be able to work hours in excess of company's regular workweek, including weekends and holidays as needed Weekly Pay Paid Time Off Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance and Short Term Disability 401(k)
