Job Summary Assist Manager in planning work assignments and monitoring work in addition to performing routine and special waste related procedures. Responsibilities Has demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities as required by Tech I and Tech II. Demonstrates knowledge of different waste types and has ability to classify/process all types of waste and run all related equipment needed to maintain an efficient process in the waste management department. Utilize email, phone system and WasteWatcher program. Help with inventory and control of supplies. Mechanical aptitude to maintain and work on all equipment in the waste management, moving and linen areas. Ability to inspect areas of responsibility for quality of cleanliness. Pick up and prepare all waste for processing or shipment and complete necessary paperwork for storage or transport. Requirements HS Diploma or GED equivalent required; however, requisite experience in similar role will be considered in lieu of educational requirement when necessary and appropriate. Ability to follow written and oral instructions necessary. Ability to read, write and comprehend basic instruction. 1-2 Years Experience in Environmental Services or Related Field Required.
