Maintenance Caretaker - Aspire

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and overall appearance of Aspire facilities, amenities, grounds, and assigned outdoor spaces. Complete daily cleaning, deep cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking of public restrooms. Patrol facilities, grounds, playgrounds, the bike course, trails, greenway, parking areas, and other assigned spaces to remove litter, debris, and other hazards. Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and complete trash runs throughout the property. Deep clean and sanitize amenities, including trash receptacles, benches, picnic tables, drinking fountains, gates, signage, and other public-use areas. Operate power-washing equipment and other assigned tools safely and effectively. Inspect, clean, and restock dog-bag dispensers and other guest-use stations. Identify and promptly report safety hazards, vandalism, damage, supply shortages, equipment concerns, and maintenance needs to management. Monitor cleaning, sanitation, and janitorial supply inventory; request replenishment as needed. Safely operate assigned vehicles, utility vehicles, tools, and equipment in accordance with company procedures. Handle cleaning chemicals, sanitizing solutions, and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines, product instructions, and company policies. Maintain clean, organized storage areas, supply rooms, workspaces, and equipment. Interact professionally and courteously with guests, vendors, and fellow team members. Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and property-maintenance duties. Support Aspire operations and perform other duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of five years of experience in sanitation, janitorial services, grounds care, facilities upkeep, property maintenance, or a related field preferred. Ability to safely operate vehicles, utility vehicles, power-washing equipment, and assigned tools. Knowledge of safe handling and proper use of cleaning chemicals and sanitizing solutions. Ability to monitor supply inventory and communicate replenishment needs promptly. Strong attention to detail, organization, dependability, and follow-through. Ability to work independently while also supporting a team-based environment. Clear verbal communication skills and a professional, reliable work ethic. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Remain on your feet and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently bend, reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, and work outdoors across varying terrain. Safely lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds, including trash bags, cleaning supplies, equipment, and boxes. Use hands and arms continuously to operate tools and equipment, complete cleaning duties, and handle supplies. Work safely around cleaning chemicals, sanitizing products, wet surfaces, outdoor equipment, and changing weather conditions. Tolerate varying temperatures and work indoors and outdoors throughout the year. Read product labels, safety instructions, supply information, and written work assignments. Operate assigned vehicles and equipment safely.
