Job Description
Summary CMP Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment within a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving skills, works effectively in a team setting, and supports continuous equipment performance improvement. This is a factory-based position supporting the CMP equipment team and requires working in a cleanroom environment while wearing appropriate cleanroom attire and personal protective equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CMP fab equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions to eliminate recurring tool failures
- Improve system performance to meet process requirements and increase tool reliability
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret tool performance data
- Recommend and implement improvements to maintenance procedures
- Partner with engineers to design and execute equipment improvement projects
- Clearly communicate equipment status during daily verbal pass down meetings
