$25/hour on W2- $32/hour on W2 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Environmental Technician to support environmental compliance and operations at an industrial/manufacturing facility.
Hands-on experience with:
Waste characterization Waste inspections Waste management and disposal Environmental compliance activities Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements. Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, refinery, chemical, petrochemical, or similar environment is highly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with Operations personnel and external vendors. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to work independently after completing site-specific training. Preferred Qualifications Experience with RCRA / hazardous waste compliance .Exposure to or experience with:
Air permitting and environmental reporting Water compliance SPCC inspections and compliance Environmental audits and regulatory assessments Chemical plant or heavy industrial experience is a plus. Work Environment & Training Onsite position New hire will work closely with experienced Environmental/EH&S Technicians during onboarding. Training and ramp-up period is expected to be approximately 12 months . Daily direction will primarily come from the site's Waste & Water Coordinator. No routine overtime is expected. One-round panel interview. Standard background screening required. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on environmental professional with strong waste management and environmental compliance experience who is comfortable performing field inspections, identifying compliance issues, working directly with Operations, coordinating with environmental vendors, and maintaining regulatory documentation. Candidates with strong waste management/compliance experience are especially encouraged to apply.Pay:
