Supplement Manufacturing | Production & Sanitation | Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our manufacturing team. The Sanitation Technician plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, rooms, tools, and work areas according to established procedures and schedules. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, follows procedures carefully, and understands the importance of sanitation in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Sanitation

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, tools, utensils, floors, walls, and other designated areas.
• Follow established sanitation procedures, cleaning schedules, and work instructions.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as required for proper cleaning and sanitation.
• Use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals safely and according to established procedures.
• Ensure production areas are properly cleaned and ready for the next production run.
• Remove waste, debris, and other materials from production and sanitation areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized sanitation area and ensure cleaning supplies are properly stored. Quality & Food Safety
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), food safety requirements, and company sanitation procedures.
• Prevent cross-contamination by following proper cleaning and sanitation practices.
• Inspect equipment and production areas after cleaning to ensure established standards have been met.
• Immediately report sanitation concerns, equipment conditions, contamination risks, or other potential food safety issues to a Supervisor or Quality/Food Safety Team member.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness while working in production areas. Documentation & Records
• Accurately complete sanitation records, cleaning checklists, and other required documentation.
• Document cleaning activities, chemical usage, and sanitation inspections as required.
• Report incomplete or unsuccessful cleaning activities to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records according to company procedures. Safety & Chemical Handling
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Properly handle, store, and use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Follow chemical labeling, storage, dilution, and handling procedures.
• Report spills, leaks, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain awareness of hazards associated with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and production areas. Teamwork & Communication
• Work cooperatively with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and other team members.
• Communicate sanitation issues and concerns clearly and promptly.
• Coordinate cleaning activities with Production to minimize interruptions to manufacturing operations.
• Participate in required sanitation, safety, GMP, and food safety training.
• Contribute to a positive culture of cleanliness, quality, safety, and accountability. Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous sanitation, janitorial, manufacturing, food production, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow established safety procedures.
• Previous experience with cGMPs, HACCP, food safety, or manufacturing sanitation is a plus. Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and work in various positions while cleaning equipment and production areas.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as required.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and sanitation tasks.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where cleanliness, hygiene, and safety procedures are essential.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work in areas where temperature, moisture, noise, or other manufacturing conditions may vary. What We Offer
