Night Hours:
5:50pm-6:00am (Rotating 2-2-3 schedule) QPS Employment Group is hiring a Sanitation Tech for a company in Sussex, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Sanitation Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) guidelines are adhered to
- Wash all plant equipment as required
- Safety equipment is needed to perform a specific job task and what chemicals are used to clean with
- Follow all aspects of the Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) program; know where the MSDS is located and how to read them.
- Maintain a sanitary work environment inside and out
- Communicate with other departments to prioritize the sanitation schedule
- Collect cardboard, trash, plastic, and wastewater
- Work in a team environment to decrease production downtime
- Maintain a safe work environment for the team and notify the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager of any equipment or personnel safety issues
- Ensure that all finished goods are properly labeled and staged for shipping
- Maintain an accurate and detailed operator's log
Sanitation Tech Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate and understand verbal directions effectively and efficiently in the English language, both verbal and written
- Basic math and computer skills desirable
- Must be able to stand for 12 hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
