This job description shall not be construed as a contract for employment. Grand Targhee Resort is an at-will employer. SUMMARY The Parking/Recycling Attendant helps create a welcoming, organized arrival experience for guests while keeping resort parking and recycling areas clean and efficient. This hands-on position assists with parking set-up and operations, directs guests and employees, collects and sorts recycling and trash, and supports sanding during winter conditions. As part of the Base Area team, this position also assists other departments as needed and serves as a Targhee ambassador through friendly, helpful guest interactions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide friendly, high-quality guest service while helping maintain clean, organized, and efficient parking and recycling operations. Assist the Manager and Lead with daily set-up, operations, and breakdown of parking and camping-related infrastructure. Help maintain safe and orderly parking lots by directing guests and employees to appropriate parking areas. Collect trash and recyclable materials from designated containers throughout the resort and common areas. Assist with driving the parking lot shuttle as needed (must be trained and 25 years of age or older). Sort and store recyclable materials and assist with off-site transport as needed. Maintain a professional, courteous, and welcoming approach with guests and coworkers. Stay familiar with Base Area locations, resort offerings, and events to provide guests with accurate information and directions. Assist with other Base Area and resort operations as needed. Maintain scheduling and assignment flexibility based on weather, staffing, and business levelsRESPONSIBILITY TO SAFETY
