The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately from the kitchen to our guests, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing plates and utensils after guests have finished their meals. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding food orders and special requests. Help set up and break down catering events as needed, ensuring all food handling guidelines are followed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and assisting with any special needs or requests. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays or supplies as needed.
