Type:

full-time I am looking for Data Operators for a contract role for Meta. This is a 3 month contract opportunity. We're seeking reliable, detail-oriented Data Operators to join a cross-functional robotics team. In this role, you'll use cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) headsets to perform a wide variety of real-world tasks - cooking, cleaning, interacting with objects - generating the high-quality data that trains next-generation spatial computing models. This is a full-time, on-site contingent worker (CWX) role embedded directly with researchers and engineers on one of Meta's most ambitious initiatives.

What You'll Do VR Data Collection:

Wear a company-provided VR headset and perform everyday tasks precisely as specified by collection protocols, capturing high-quality embodied data that teaches AI systems real-world behaviours.

Daily Data Uploads:

Securely upload all collected data daily using a proprietary application, ensuring adherence to formatting, tagging, and security standards.

Quality Assurance:

Self-audit captured sessions to ensure completeness and quality; re-collect any sessions that don't meet standards.

Session Logging:

Maintain accurate records of completed sessions, task IDs, and any anomalies or deviations encountered.

Issue Reporting:

Promptly and clearly escalate technical issues, hardware malfunctions, or protocol ambiguities to the Program Manager.

Protocol Refinement:

Contribute operator-level feedback to improve collection protocols, quality standards, and workflow efficiency over time.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with researchers, engineers, and program managers to identify edge cases, troubleshoot issues, and improve data quality for downstream model training.

Equipment Care:

Properly handle, charge, clean, and store the VR headset and peripherals at the end of each day. What Would Make You A Great Fit Attention to

Data Handling Awareness:

Understanding of the importance of data security, privacy, and confidentiality standards.
