At Holding Hands, our Developmental Interventionists use relationship-based approaches to help individuals grow socially, emotionally, and developmentally. As a Developmental Interventionist, you will deliver individualized care using the DIR®/Floortime™ model across home, school, clinic, and community settings while working alongside a collaborative clinical team. Compensation & Benefits for Developmental Interventionist $25 - $30, /hour starting pay $300 sign-on bonus Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Mileage reimbursement between sessions Training and professional development opportunities Referral bonus opportunities Opportunity to grow into full-time roles What You'll Do Key Responsibilities as a Developmental Interventionist Provide 1:1 DIR®/Floortime™ intervention Facilitate social, emotional, and developmental growth through play-based interactions Implement individualized, relationship-based activities tailored to each client Support communication, emotional regulation, and social connection Encourage independence, self-expression, and choice-making Build strong relationships with clients and families Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members Maintain a nurturing, flexible, and supportive environment What We're Looking For Developmental Interventionist Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (in a related field) Passion for working with children and supporting developmental growth Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation required 1 year of experience in a related field Preferred Qualifications Experience with DIR®/Floortime™, ABA, or early childhood development Master's degree in a related field Experience working with children with autism or developmental differences Why Apply as a Developmental Interventionist? We currently have 5 clinics based throughout LA County (Burbank, Calabasas, Los Angeles, Whittier, & Rosemead), plus we are opening at least 4 additional clinics this year! We serve over 1,500 neurodiverse individuals in the home, school, clinic, and community per week. We serve children, teens, and adults with various neurodiverse diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Anxiety, OCD, and related developmental and mental health needs. What differentiates us is our interdisciplinary and person-centered approach. With multiple modalities accessible, we can better support our clients and families' individual needs and provide training opportunities in different modalities. We provide ABA, Social Skills Groups, Modified Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Counseling and DIR®/ Floortime™ We take a person-centered approach and focuses on the child's strengths and individual differences, while developing an intervention plan that addresses his or her unique profile.
