• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates issued in conformance with the American Red Cross recommendations and guidelines for CPR, First Aid and emergency care
• Valid California Driver's License
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or higher
• Police Officer Standards and Training (POST) PC 832 Laws of Arrest Certificate
• SB 390 School Security Officer Certificate
• Pass the Fontana USD Police Services (FUSDPD) District Safety Officer pre-employment physical fitness
• Successfully complete the following trainings within four (4) months of hire:
• Narcan and pepper spray training
• SB 390 School Security training certificate
• SB 1626 training
• PC 832 training

• All District Safety Officers must take and pass a physical agility test.

The testing will be tentatively scheduled by 10/09/26. The interviews will be tentatively scheduled by 10/18/26.
