STRENGTH THERAPY APPRENTICE

Sacred Strength is looking for an exceptional person to train and certify in our strength therapy method at our private studio in Laguna Niguel. This is a genuine apprenticeship. It is not a standard personal training position, and the person selected will not immediately be given a schedule of clients. The position begins part time with paid education, observation, shadowing, hands on practice, administrative responsibilities, and supervised experience. As the apprentice develops the necessary skill, judgment, consistency, and understanding of our method, they will gradually begin conducting sessions independently. Our intention is to develop the right person into a full time Strength Trainer and an important long term member of Sacred Strength.

ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP

No previous personal training experience or certification is required. We are more concerned with character, reliability, communication, interpersonal maturity, and willingness to learn. The selected apprentice will be personally trained and certified in the Sacred Strength method.

Training will include:

Understanding our philosophy and approach to strength training Learning the proper setup and use of each machine Teaching precise positioning, controlled movement, breathing, and muscular engagement Guiding clients safely through demanding exercise Learning how to adjust sessions for different ages, abilities, limitations, and levels of experience Observing client sessions and learning how to communicate throughout the workout Practicing under direct supervision Learning how to document workouts and track client progress Understanding the complete client experience from scheduling through follow up Certification will be based on demonstrated competence. Completing a certain number of training hours alone will not guarantee certification. The apprentice must show that they can safely and consistently represent the Sacred Strength method while providing an exceptional experience for every client.

ABOUT THE WORK

Our trainers guide clients through private twenty minute strength training sessions using a precise, controlled, and highly personalized approach. This is a very personal job. Clients must feel safe, respected, understood, encouraged, and genuinely cared for. The right person must be able to build trust while remaining professional, attentive, and fully present. A significant portion of our community consists of senior citizens. The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys working with older adults and is especially good at communicating with them. Patience, warmth, respect, attentiveness, and the ability to explain things clearly are essential. This position also includes administrative responsibilities.

The apprentice must be comfortable:

Answering and making phone calls Communicating professionally through email Scheduling and rescheduling client appointments Using scheduling and client management software Using Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, and related business technology Maintaining accurate client information and workout records Following established procedures Helping with basic studio organization and daily operations Communicating clearly with clients and the Sacred Strength team

We are looking for someone who: Lives in Laguna Niguel or the surrounding South Orange County community Is exceptionally reliable and punctual Is trustworthy and responsible Is interpersonally mature and emotionally intelligent Has a warm and welcoming personality Communicates exceptionally well both verbally and in writing Is comfortable making phone calls and writing professional emails Is patient and naturally good with senior citizens Makes people feel comfortable, respected, and cared for Is organized and attentive to detail Is comfortable learning and using business software Accepts instruction and feedback without defensiveness Has the humility to learn our method as it is taught Takes their own health and physical wellbeing seriously Can remain calm, attentive, and encouraging when a client is working hard Wants to become excellent at a specialized profession Is interested in building a meaningful long term career within the local community Experience in fitness, health care, coaching, teaching, hospitality, caregiving, administration, or client service may be helpful, but it is not required. Someone with extensive fitness experience will still be expected to learn and follow the Sacred Strength method.

THE PATH FORWARD

The position begins with part time training and support responsibilities. The apprentice will first learn how Sacred Strength operates, observe sessions, assist with administrative work, and practice the method under supervision. As competence and trust are established, the apprentice will begin taking responsibility for client sessions. Their schedule and responsibilities will expand as they demonstrate that they can provide safe, consistent, and exceptional service independently. This opportunity is intended for someone who wants to grow into a full time position. We are not looking for someone who simply wants occasional hours or a temporary fitness job. We are looking for someone who wants to learn a complete method, become certified, build lasting relationships with clients, and grow with Sacred Strength over the long term.
