Job Summary:

M1 is looking for a Logs and Records Technician. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Maintains aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records.
• Proficient performing all operator, data entry and retrieval functions associated with aircraft recordkeeping.
• Performs networking functions between individual stations, including analysis and correction of errors caused by software, hardware, or data entry.
• Transmits and receives data via floppy disk, modem, and other electronic means.
• Extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data saves in support of military deployments and detachment operations.
• Performs a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing, and typing, performing data base and systems analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Thorough understanding of DOD aircraft maintenance processes preferred.
• Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data).
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Obtain/maintain security clearance, DOD CAC privileges, and Special Access Badge requirements.
• Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends as required.
• Current valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to travel
• Must be willing and able to deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous and professional manner.
• Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
• U.S. Navy Aviation Maintenance Administration man (AZ) "A" School or three (3) years relevant military experience
• Must be able to work flexible schedule as required.
• Able to travel in support of detachment operations as required.
• Eligible for Common Access Card (CAC)

Logs and Records

• Minimum 2 year of related experience in Logs and Records for Military Aviation.
• Experience with automated maintenance record systems: NALCOMIS, OOMA, IMDS, and NAMIS - highly desired.
• U.

S. Navy or U.S. Air Force maintenance administration course graduate - preferred

Working Conditions:

• Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
