ABOUT THE SIMPLE LUXE
The Simple Luxe is a full-service event design and production company specializing in private events, corporate events, brand activations, custom fabrication, premium balloon installations, florals, signage, event styling, and immersive guest experiences. We are expanding our roster of experienced balloon crew members to help prepare balloon orders and create garlands and installations.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This is an active, hands-on role focused on balloon preparation and garland production. Work is assigned as orders come in, with specific quantities, colors, sizes, designs, and completion deadlines. Applicants must already have experience inflating and sizing balloons, tying and twisting balloon clusters, and creating balloon garlands. We can teach our specific preparation methods, but applicants should already have foundational balloon skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inflate balloons accurately to specified sizes. Tie and twist balloons into pairs, clusters, and garland sections. Create balloon garlands following provided photos, recipes, and instructions. Work with different balloon sizes and color combinations. Count and organize balloons according to each order. Check finished work for consistent sizing, secure connections, and overall quality. Bag, label, and prepare completed balloons and garlands for transport. Handle balloons carefully to minimize damage and unnecessary waste. Keep tools, supplies, and work areas organized. Complete assigned orders by the agreed deadline. Assist with onsite balloon installation when included in the assignment.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Professional or substantial hands-on balloon décor experience. Experience inflating, sizing, tying, twisting, and clustering latex balloons. Experience creating balloon garlands independently. Ability to follow visual references, balloon counts, size specifications, and color instructions. Strong attention to detail and consistent workmanship. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality. Ability to take direction and follow The Simple Luxe's preparation methods. Dependability, clear communication, and ownership of assigned orders. Reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. For onsite assignments, ability to assist with loading, unloading, and lifting items up to approximately 50 pounds.
WORK SAMPLES REQUIRED
Please provide photos, a portfolio, or social media examples of balloon work you personally completed. Let us know which parts you handled, such as inflation, garland construction, or installation.
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
This is an on-call position based on balloon orders and project needs. Assignments and hours vary and are not guaranteed. Compensation is paid at an agreed project rate based on the quantity of balloons, complexity of the work, and assignment responsibilities. The scope, deadline, and pay will be discussed before each assignment. Some assignments may involve balloon preparation only; others may include onsite installation. Availability needs will be communicated for each project.
