Responsible for the oversight of the guest arrival and grounds maintenance requirements during the winter season. Ensure quality results of our daily maintenance tasks, operational duties, and special projects. Provide exceptional guest service to internal and external customers. Promote a safe and positive work environment for employees. Work as a team to ensure 7 days a week coverage and continuity between crews. Responsible for ensuring that safety is paramount in all operations, including vehicle and equipment operations and overall safety of our base areas. Train all staff in proper vehicle and equipment operations, company policies and procedures and monitor departmental compliance in these aspects. Train teams to be able to confidently and safely perform their job duties. Ensure all vehicles, equipment, tools and work areas are clean, safe, and properly maintained. Work with department Senior manager to develop, prioritize, and effectively implement the departmental goals and objectives. Assisting the Senior Base Area Manager with managing time and labor, performance reviews and performance management for all team members in the department Manage a winter team consisting of up to 15 employees.
