Cleaning Associate

Actalent is hiring a Cleaning Associate for a pharmaceutical company that focus on cancer treatments and medications! Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Cleaning Associate/Lab Support Associate to join our team onsite in Thousand Oaks. This role is essential for providing support during high workload periods and to cover for personnel on leave. The position demands a physically capable individual who thrives in a routine-driven environment, specifically within cage washing operations. Responsibilities Operate animal husbandry-related equipment such as cage wash, autoclave, and laminar air flow cabinets. Routinely wash, autoclave, and prepare caging and equipment. Provide care for laboratory animals, including husbandry and performing cage change procedures. Perform and report daily health observations, handling, and restraint of laboratory animals, notably rodents. Maintain and organize laboratory spaces using 5S lean management for the success of research. Provide supplies and support for investigators conducting scientific experiments. Essential Skills Experience in warehouse production, manufacturing, or other physically demanding roles. Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and retain training quickly. Strong punctuality and consistent attendance. Ability to meet a 7:00 AM onsite start time consistently. Capability to work safely around cage wash equipment. Work Environment The position is full-time and requires working onsite from 7 AM to 3:30 PM in a team-oriented and structured environment. Candidates should live within 25-30 miles of the site to ensure reliable commutes. The role involves using equipment such as cage wash, autoclave, and laminar air flow cabinets, and requires adherence to safety protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Thousand Oaks, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
