This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical documents, and the safe operation of woodworking tools and machinery. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in craftsmanship and quality. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine materials and specifications Operate woodworking machinery including saws, routers, planers, drill presses, and sanders Assemble components using nails, screws, adhesives, and other fastening tools Inspect raw wood materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met Adjust machinery settings to maintain product accuracy and consistency Perform light maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of tools and equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Participate in cross-training and team collaboration as needed Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience in woodworking, cabinet making, carpentry, construction, or manufacturing Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and technical documents Comfortable operating hand tools and power tools Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Physical Demands & Work Environment This position is located in a manufacturing/production environment and may involve: Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Use of hand and power tools Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Lifting materials and components as needed Exposure to typical manufacturing noise levels Working around woodworking machinery and equipment Benefits & Perks Cibes|Symmetry offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including: Generous vacation, personal time, and paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contribution Life and disability insurance Gym membership reimbursement Volunteer time opportunities Opportunities for advancement and career growth Employment Requirements Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and any position-specific testing required.
