  • Quality Engineering & Surveying, LLC is looking for a CAD Designer!
Turn concepts into constructible solutions that shape communities. QES is seeking a motivated Designer to support our engineering and landscape architecture teams through the development of accurate, well‑coordinated design drawings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented professional to grow their technical skills while contributing to impactful infrastructure and development projects. What You'll Do As a Designer at QES, you'll collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to bring ideas to life through precise and innovative design work.
Your responsibilities will include:
Creating and modifying technical drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D Translating field data, design sketches, and markups into clear, accurate plans Revising drawings based on project feedback and evolving design requirements Ensuring designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and quality standards Assisting with permit submittals, specifications, and supporting documentation Maintaining organized project files and up‑to‑date design records What You Bring Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, Design Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field 1-3 years of design or drafting experience (entry‑level candidates with strong technical skills encouraged to apply) Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience is a plus Ability to interpret engineering sketches, notes, and field data Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Why QES?
