Job Description
Trimpac is a family-owned business leading in producing custom casework, store fixtures, and complete interior millwork packages. With state-of-the-art finishing capabilities, we can provide custom trim in any profile, shape, or size in any species of wood. Trimpac has also established itself as a powerhouse in the custom casework and store fixture field, producing box cabinets, reception desks, and other custom casework goods. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter/Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for producing and updating shop drawings, creating CNC programs for production, and assisting with material takeoffs. This position supports seasonal increases in workload and focuses on drawing throughput, accuracy, and adherence to established drafting standards. Duties Produce shop drawings and using AutoCAD LT in accordance with company drafting standards Revise drawings based on internal reviews & customer comments Generate CNC programs to cut cabinet parts and solid surface countertop parts using Homag WoodWop and Homag intelliDivide Produce accurate material takeoffs for ordering of plastic laminate, hardware, & sheet goods Read and interpret site plans, blueprints and technical drawings Coordinate with drafters, CNC programmers, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely drawings Qualifications Proficient with AutoCAD LT Knowledge of Homag WoodWOP and Homag intelliDivide Nesting preferred Knowledge of cabinet and countertop materials for accurate and efficient material takeoffs Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy Demonstrates professional written and verbal communication skills Creative problem-solver and collaborative team-player Apply in person if desired at 117521 Forward Street in Stratford.
