Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a critical CT imaging role within a dynamic healthcare environment serving patients of all ages, from infants to adults. This contract assignment requires high-level technical skills and quick adaptability, performing a wide spectrum of CT scans that support acute care, urgent care, ER, and occasional outpatient imaging. With approximately 90-100 scans per day in both acute and ambulatory settings, the department is well-equipped with Siemens and Toshiba 300+ slice scanners across five rooms.
Schedule & Hours:
Varied shifts available: 12s, 10s, some 7 on/7 off, and weekend-only rotations. No self-scheduling or block scheduling; set rotations based on department needs. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required per rotation. Night shifts may require working independently as the sole CT technologist.
Qualifications & Experience:
ARRT (R) certification and current BLS required; ARRT (CT) strongly preferred. Minimum of 2 years' recent CT technologist experience, with history in a level 2 or higher trauma center. IV start experience highly valued. First-time travelers and duos/pairs are welcome. Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Siemens/SECTRA PACS preferred. Ability to manage high scan volumes independently and deliver clear, compassionate care. Must note any prior work history at this organization, ensuring a gap of at least 6 months if previously employed.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a comprehensive array of CT studies, including trauma, stroke, and pediatric/adult protocols. Float as needed to acute, urgent care, ER, and on rare occasions, outpatient imaging. Maintain quality standards and accuracy under varying shift demands. Implement organization checklists and complete department-specific orientation and CBTs.
