Position Summary We are seeking a highly detail-oriented CAD Draftsman to join our team. This role is responsible for creating accurate technical and shop drawings, CNC programming, and production-ready plans for custom cabinetry projects. The ideal candidate has strong experience with CAD software, excellent problem-solving skills, and preferably a background in the cabinetry, millwork, or woodworking industry. Key Responsibilities Create detailed CAD drawings, layouts, and shop drawings for custom cabinetry projects Interpret design concepts, specifications, and measurements into accurate technical drawings Collaborate with designers, project managers, and production staff to ensure drawings meet project requirements Revise drawings based on client changes, field measurements, and production feedback Prepare drawings for manufacturing and installation teams Review plans for accuracy, dimensions, materials, and constructability Maintain organized project files and documentation Support estimating, production planning, and project coordination as needed Qualificatons Previous experience using CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, SolidWorks, or similar) Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance and PTO Stable, family-oriented work environment
