We are in a growth phase and looking for a hands-on General Manager who is ready to lead from the floor, not from behind a desk. This is a rebuild and growth opportunity. We are honest about that. We need someone who is energized by that challenge, not intimidated by it.

WHAT THIS ROLE ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE

You will be on the floor. You will be in the back when the back needs you. You will make decisions without waiting for approval. In your first week you will observe, ask questions, and tell us honestly what you can take on and what needs more time. After that, you lead. The owner is available by phone and text and will step in when the team needs support. But the day-to-day is yours to own.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Labor scheduling, staffing levels, and shift coverage
• Food cost, ordering, and supply management
• FOH and BOH team leadership, coaching, and accountability
• Daily cafe and coffee bar operations from open to close
• Guest experience standards and conflict resolution
• Systems enforcement and operational consistency
• Hiring and termination decisions with owner communication

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience with real P&L responsibility
• BOH-strong background — you understand the kitchen and you will go there when it needs you
• Proven experience stabilizing or rebuilding a team
• Someone who makes decisions and communicates them clearly
• High emotional resilience — you do not shut down when things get hard
• Independent restaurant experience strongly preferred

• Labor and food costs within target ranges
• Stable schedule with reduced call-offs
• Team that is held accountable and feels supported
• Owner stepping back from daily floor operations

COMPENSATION

• $70,000 to $100,000 base salary depending on experience
• Performance bonuses tied to cost control and profitability
