2026 Summer season- Full-Time Job Summary We're seeking a compassionate, energetic and skilled Camp Registered Nurse to join our summer team. The ideal candidate will provide healthcare services to campers and staff, promote a healthy camp environment, and ensure that medical protocols are followed throughout the season. This position is perfect for a nursing professional who loves working with children and young adults and thrives in an engaging, community-centered environment. Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary:
Competitive, $1,000-$1,300 per week, based on experience and qualificationsTravel Assistance:
Travel expenses covered- Contract duration: July 24-August 20 or July 24-August 9 and August 9-20)
Shift:
8-10h shift, mix of day and evening and occasional nightsBenefits Package:
We provide a travel allowance, room and board, and full access to all camp facilities during your off hours. You're also welcome to bring your camp-age child (8-15) to enjoy the camp experience alongside you. About the Organization A welcoming residential camp in the great state of New Hampshire. With the mission of creating a warm and supportive community where children can develop self-understanding, independence, and meaningful friendships while exploring new experiences and learning essential life skills. This camp environment values diverse cultures, backgrounds and beliefs ensuring an enriching summer camp experience. Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to ill or injured campers and staff members in the Health Center
- Communicate with parents regarding medical concerns and updates
- Administer and manage medication distribution for campers
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide necessary interventions
- Maintain accurate electronic health logs for all campers and staff
- Promote accident prevention and overall community health awareness
- Uphold policies and procedures to prevent communicable diseases Minimum Requirements
- Possess an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NH or a compact RN license
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies
- Experience in a camp, school, or pediatric healthcare setting preferred Ideal Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a summer camp or similar environment
- High-energy, team-oriented approach with a warm and caring personality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for working with children and fostering a positive camp experience
