Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Campground Supervisor of Grounds and Maintenance to lead our outdoor hospitality team. In this vital role, you will oversee the upkeep, landscaping, and overall appearance of the campground grounds, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests. Your leadership will help create memorable outdoor experiences by maintaining pristine facilities and fostering excellent guest relations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine outdoor work with guest service excellence in a lively resort setting. This is a working supervisor postion, you will be mowing, fixing, and performing duties while keeping a small crew on track. Duties Supervise daily groundskeeping operations, including landscaping, mowing, trimming, and general maintenance of outdoor areas. Maintain facilities such as restrooms, recreational areas, signage, and pathways to ensure optimal condition. Lead a team of groundskeepers and maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to promote high standards of service. Conduct regular inspections of the campground to identify repair needs or safety hazards and implement prompt solutions. Collaborate with guest services staff to address guest inquiries or concerns related to grounds or facilities promptly and professionally. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards during all maintenance activities. Maintain records of maintenance work orders, inspections, and safety protocols to support operational efficiency. Experience Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance within a hospitality or resort environment is highly preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation. Bilingual candidates or those with hotel experience will stand out for their ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff. Experience working in a resort or hospitality setting involving guest relations enhances your fit for this role.
