Campus Athletics & Student Activities Assistant (Part-Time)

North Plainfield, NJ and Warren, NJ About The Sundance School The Sundance School is an independent PreK-8 school focused on creativity, confidence, movement, and experiential learning. As our Warren campus continues to develop and expand, we are building a strong team to support the future growth of our athletics, student activities, after-school enrichment, and campus programs. We are currently seeking a Campus Athletics & Student Activities Assistant to support our existing programs while also helping us build toward the next phase of campus growth. Position Overview This is a developing role designed for someone who enjoys working with children, being physically active, and contributing to a growing school environment. The position will initially support programs and operations at both our North Plainfield and Warren locations. While some responsibilities are already active, this role is also intended as a future growth opportunity as our Warren campus and student programs continue expanding. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, hands-on, flexible, and excited to grow with a developing school community. Responsibilities Assist with student athletics and movement activities Help supervise recess and outdoor student activities Support PE classes and after-school sports programs Assist with activity setup, sports equipment organization, and event preparation Support student engagement during campus events, field days, and seasonal programs Encourage teamwork, participation, and positive student interaction Provide general support for campus operations and student activities Qualifications Experience working with children or students preferred Sports, coaching, camp, recreation, fitness, dance, or youth program experience is a plus Positive attitude and strong communication skills Comfortable in active, hands-on environments Reliable transportation preferred due to work between campuses College students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply Growth Opportunity This role is intended to grow alongside our expanding Warren campus and future student programs.
