Cannabis Post Harvest Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cannabis Post Harvest Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the careful processing, trimming, drying, and curing of harvested cannabis plants to ensure top-quality products. Your expertise in horticulture, greenhouse operations, and plant care will be essential to maintaining the integrity and consistency of our products. Responsibilities Carefully harvest and trim cannabis plants following established protocols to maximize quality and yield Monitor and manage drying and curing processes to ensure optimal moisture levels and product preservation Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently during processing tasks Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including trimming stations, drying rooms, and storage spaces Identify plant health issues or defects through plant identification skills and report any concerns promptly Assist with irrigation setup, adjustments, and monitoring to support healthy plant development during post-harvest stages Perform heavy lifting when handling large or bulky plant materials, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times Qualifications Growing experience with cannabis or other horticultural crops is highly preferred Familiarity with lawn care, farming, landscaping, or outdoor gardening enhances suitability for this role Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate hand tools safely are essential Strong plant identification skills combined with basic math skills for measurements and record keeping Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Prior experience trimming and processing cannabis Workers Badge A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills Join us in cultivating high-quality cannabis products while advancing your skills in a vibrant industry!
