Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a vital support role within two welcoming rural school districts for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers the unique opportunity to work alongside dedicated educators and impact students' daily experiences in a meaningful way. You'll split your week between two districts, spending three days at one location and one day at another, fostering connections and versatility. This role is ideal for a team-oriented professional who thrives in close-knit communities and enjoys making a difference across multiple settings.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional or general education teacher preferred Adaptability to serve both general and special education needs Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and student support teams Strong communication and organizational skills Willingness to travel between districts and engage in a rural school environment Positive, proactive attitude and passion for student development Reliable transportation
Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers and students in day-to-day learning activities Assist with lesson implementation, individualized education programs (IEPs), and behavior plans Foster inclusive and engaging classroom environments Provide one-on-one and small group support as needed Collaborate with teachers and district staff to enhance student learning outcomes Participate in training and professional development This assignment begins August 21, 2026 and extends through mid-June 2027, allowing you to immerse yourself in a community where your contributions are recognized and valued.
